Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) Subs/Suppliers required include but are not limited to: Lead compliance plan, CPM scheduling, develop water supply, construction area signs, roadside signs, furnish and install traffic control items, jobsite management, storm water prevention plan and reports, temporary erosion control, street sweeping, noise monitoring, clearing and grubbing, shoring, treated wood waste removal/hauling, quality control, trucking, dust palliative, water trucks, sawcut, demolition of pavement and structures, structure excavation and backfill, roadway excavation and fill, ditch excavation, aggregate base, cold plane AC, hot mix asphalt paving, PCC paving, isolation joint, grind concrete pavement, ground anchors, mechanically stabilized embankment, CIDH piling, furnish and drive piles, overhead sign structures, prestressing CIP concrete, architectural treatment, drill and bond dowels, joint seals (bridge), bar reinforcing steel, masonry block, structure concrete bridge, retaining walls, bridge demolition, storm drain, concrete ditch and channel lining, minor concrete flatwork, vegetation control, rock slope protection, miscellaneous metals, pavement markings, concrete barriers, anti-graffiti coating, fencing, gates, cable railing, guardrail systems and related work, refinish bridge deck, underground utilities, erosion control material supply, pipe supply, concrete supply, electrical, rental equipment, landscape & irrigation.

Ames Construction, Inc. will work with subcontractors and suppliers to breakdown items into economical feasible packages and to establish delivery/construction schedules to allow for maximum DBE participation.

Ames will require bidder to provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the Subcontract values. Costs of the bonds are to be provided as a separate line item.
