Bid items can be broken down into economically feasible units or to match your scope of work. WABO will work cooperatively with all qualified firms interested in bidding this project. We will consider quotes for any scope of work, including work we traditionally perform with our own forces to insure DBE participation.
WABO also requests quotes for all materials for the project from suppliers/vendors, particularly suppliers/vendors who are DBE Certified and are either manufacturers or regular dealers as defined by 49 CFR 26.55. Required materials include, but are not limited to: Soil Amendment, Fertilizer, Plants, Rock Mulch, Wood Mulch, Compost, Wire, Irrigation System (pipe, valves, strainers, bubblers, sprinklers, joints, elbows, connectors), and other construction materials.

We prefer quotes submitted by FAX to (510) 724-2391. Please submit quotes no later than 10 AM on bid day to insure we have adequate time to evaluate your proposal. Be sure to include your contact information, your contractor’s license and DIR numbers, and if applicable, your status as a Certified DBE.
