Project Owner: Caltrans Estimate # CT 01-366004
Construction on State Highway 101 in Humboldt County near Eureka from Eureka Slough Bridge to Bayside Cutoff. In District 01 On Route 101, 01-Hum-101-80.0/84.0

General work description: Construct interchange, structure undercrossing and traffic signal.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Construction Staking; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Traffic Flaggers; Plane Asphalt Concrete; Clearing & Grubbing; Imported Borrow; Highway Planting; Hydroseeding; Erosion Control; Irrigation System; Temp Erosion Control; Landscape Maintenance; Penetration Treatment & Prime Coat (Tack Coat); Pavement Reinforcing Fabric; AC Dike and Misc. Paving; Furnish & Drive Piling; Soil Stabilization; Prestressing Concrete Cast-In-Place; Minor Concrete Structure; Joint Seal - Water Stop; Reinforcing Steel; Roadside Sign; Saw Cutting; Paint & Stain Concrete; Fencing; Object Marker; Metal Beam Guard Railing; Metal Railing; Concrete Barrier; Crash Cushion; Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking; Remove Striping & Marking; Maintain TMS Elements; Signal & Lighting; Lighting (Installation Of Street Lights); Message Signs, Lighting & Sign Illumination; Pavement Profiling; Environmental Engineer; Materials Testing Service; Enviro - Biological Studies; Environmental-Water Quality; Lead Compliance; Bottom Dump Trucking; Transfer Dump Truck; Super 10 Dump Truck; Trucker Broker; Constr. The DBE Contract goal is 20% percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACNH Q101(394)E. The estimated cost of the project is

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
