General work description:  The work consists of grind, crack fill, and overlay on approximately 0.5 miles of roadway on Valley Boulevard between Tucker Road and Beech Street. Included in this project is the removal, replacement, adjustment, and other various tasks associated with items that are affected by the grind, crack fill, and overlay.

Scope of Work:   Mobilization & Demobilization, Traffic Control, Grind 2" of Existing Pavement, Overlay 2" HMA, Type 'A', HMA Leveling Course, Type 'A', Crack Fill, Adjust Existing Water Valve, Adjust Existing Survey Monument, Construct Caltrans Std A87B HMA Dike, Type 'A', Replace Existing Traffic Loop Detector, Adjust Existing Manhole, Adjust Existing Sanitary Sewer Cleanout, Signing, Striping, and Markings

Griffith Company will work with interested subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.

Requirements: Requirements: Griffith Company is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. 100% performance and payment bonds required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance, and worker’s compensation insurance coverage meeting Griffith Company’s requirements. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the Estimator.
