Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Tree Services, Asphalt Supplier, Concrete & Cement Supplier, Timber Lagging/Lumber Supply, Drainage Systems Supplier, Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control System, Plane Asphalt Concrete, Remove Bridge Item, Clearing & Grubbing, Highway Planting, Erosion Control, Irrigation System, Temp Erosion Control, Concrete Pumping, Penetration Treatment & Prime Coat (Tack Coat), AC Dike and Misc. Paving, Drilled Hole, Cast-In-Drilled-Hole Concrete Piling, Minor Concrete Structure, Joint Seal - Water Stop, Reinforcing Steel, Air-Blown Mortar, Roadside Sign, Saw Cutting, Object Marker, Metal Beam Guard Railing, Metal Railing, Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking, Painted Traffic Stripe & Marking, Remove Striping & Marking, Pavement Marking, Lighting (Installation Of Street Lights), Enviro - Biological Studies, SWPPP Planning, Trucker Broker.
The DBE contract goal is 15%. The estimated cost of the project is $3,300,000.00. Federal Project No. BRLO 5043 (038). Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
