Ames Construction, Inc. is seeking certified and qualified DBE subcontractors and suppliers to meet the 21% goal for the following:

PROJECT: 08-1H2004 - Construction on State Highway in Riverside County at Various Locations from Krume Ditch to Wide Ditch.

DBE Subs/Suppliers required include but are not limited to: Lead Compliance Plan, Level 2 critical path method schedule, Time-related overhead (WDAY), Dispute resolution advisor on-site meeting, Hourly off-site dispute resolution advisor related tasks, Develop water supply, Construction area signs, Traffic control system, Portable radar speed feedback sign system day, Portable changeable message sign (EA), End of queue monitoring and warning with truck mounted changeable message sign day, Job site management, Prepare storm water pollution prevention plan, Storm water annual report, Move-in/Move-out (Temporary erosion control), Temporary soil binder, Temporary fiber roll, Temporary gravel bag berm, Temporary silt fence, Temporary construction entrance, Temporary creek diversion systems, Treated wood waste, Contractor supplied biologist (LS), Natural resource protection plan, Temporary high-visibility fence, Clearing and grubbing (LS), Roadway excavation, Channel excavation (Structure), Structure excavation (Rock slope protection), Imported  borrow (CY), Soil amendment, Slow-release fertilizer, Plant (Group B), Plant establishment work, Wood mulch, Move-in/Move-out (Erosion control), Fiber rolls, Hydroseed, Class 2 aggregate base (CY), Minor hot mix asphalt, Place hot mix asphalt (Miscellaneous area), (F) – Structural concrete, Drainage inlet, 30" Corrugated steel pipe (.138" THICK), 36" Corrugated steel pipe (.168" THICK), Remove pipe (LF), Partially grouted rock slope protection (150 LB, Class III, Method B) (CY), Rock slope protection fabric (Class 10), (F) – Miscellaneous iron and steel, Chain link fence (Type CL-6), Remove fence, Temporary desert tortoise fence, Desert tortoise fence, Midwest guardrail system (Steel Post), Remove guardrail, Maintaining existing traffic management system elements during construction. Ames Construction, Inc. will work with subcontractors and suppliers to breakdown items into economical feasible packages and to establish delivery/construction schedules to allow for maximum DBE participation.

Ames will require bidder to provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the Subcontract values.  Costs of the bonds are to be provided as a separate line item. The Subcontractor, by submission of its bid, agrees to the “Terms and Conditions” including all Exhibits and Attachments of Ames Subcontract Agreement.
