Scope of Services: The Work required by this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: Public roadway improvement project including remove and reconstruct roadway pavement, reconfigure roadway geometry, and install roadside safety features; Improve roadway drainage system and install best management practices (BMP); Install new overhead sign structures, roadside and wayfinding signs, traffic signs, traffic signals, street lighting, fiber optic communication network, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) components to monitor and improve traffic operations; Remove existing planting and install new drought-tolerant planting and irrigation system

Scope of Work:
Scheduling Activities, Temporary Facilities and Controls, Traffic Control and Maintenance, Temporary Traffic Control Inventory, Environmental Protection, Demolition and Removal, AC Pavement with Petroleum-Based Geotextile Paving Fabric Disposal, AC Grindings Disposal, Structural Metal Framing, Anti-Graffiti Coating, Electronic Message Signage, Traffic Signage, Electrical Site Work, Lighting, Communications Site Work, Site Grading, Excavation and Stockpiling of Surplus Soil Reuse Material, Shoring for Excavations, Soil Excavation and Stockpiling of Non-Hazardous Waste, Disposal of Non-Hazardous Waste, Furnish and Install Geogrid Materials, Bored Concrete Piles, Utility Conflict Resolution, Class 2 Aggregate Base, Hot Mix Asphalt (Type A), Rubberized HMA (Gap Graded), Slurry Seal, Adjust Frames and Covers, Minor Concrete, Pavement Markings, Chain Link Fence, Motorized Gates, Irrigation, Planting, Public Water Utility Distribution System, Storm Drain System, Traffic Signals, Vehicle Barriers, Overhead Sign Structures, Trucking, Equipment Rental.

Griffith Company will work with interested subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.

Requirements: Griffith Company is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. 100% performance and payment bonds required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation insurance coverage meeting Griffith’s requirements. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the Estimator.
