Granite is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers, including certified SBE firms, for all bid items, including but not limited to the following trades and work classifications:
Sand & Gravel Supplier, Concrete & Cement Supplier, Reinforcing Bar Section Supplier, Construction Area Signs, Plane Asphalt Concrete, Remove Bridge Item, Clearing and Grubbing, Roadway Excavation, Grading, Structure Excavation, Structure Backfill, Ditches Excavation, Imported Borrow, Erosion Control, Irrigation System, Temporary Erosion Control, Finishing Roadway, Aggregate Base, Asphalt Concrete, Clean & Seal Pavement Joints - Rout & Seal Cracks, Prestressing Concrete Cast-In-Place, Concrete Structure, Joint Seal - Water Stop, Reinforcing Steel, Roadside Sign, Rock Slope Protection, Fencing, Metal Beam Guard Railing, Concrete Barrier, Painted Traffic Striping & Marking, Swppp Planning.

Granite will break work into economically feasible packages where practical and will assist qualified firms with bonding, insurance, equipment, materials, supplies, and technical information as needed.

Requirements: Granite is signatory to the Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. Subcontractors must possess a valid contractor's license, insurance, workers' compensation coverage, and a current DIR registration. Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the subcontract amount may be required. Granite may assist with bond premiums up to 1%.
