DVBE Goal

Project Description: In general, the work shall include, but is not limited to

1. Parts of the asphalt parking areas will be ripped out and replaced.
2. Parts of the asphalt parking areas will be slurry coated.
3. Existing speed bumps will be removed and replaced.
4. Traffic lines and pavement marking words to be replaced per the engineers drawings.
5. There will be two bids for this project. The main bid, and the Add Alt 1 bid.

This request includes, but is not limited to, the following:

ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVING MAT, STRIPING, SLURRY SEAL, PIPE SUPPLIER, PAVEMENT SAWCUTTER

Plans: Plans may be obtained from the following locations: Central Coast Builders Association, and MPE - (831) 384-4081, 192 Healy Ave, Marina CA 93933

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS (including but not limited to): Bonding, insurance, lines of credit and any technical assistance or information related to the plans or specification and requirements for the work will be made available to interested DVBE, certified small and micro business suppliers and subcontractors. Assistance with obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or related
assistance or services for this project will also be offered to interested DVBE suppliers and subcontractors.The US Small Business Administration may also assist you in obtaining bonding - please see the following site for  information:  http://www.sba.gov/content/contractors#
