Project Name: For Construction on State Highway 20 in Mendocino County 17 miles east of Fort Bragg from 0.5 mile west of Road 200A to 0.1 mile west of road 200A
                                    District-County-Route-Post Mile 01-Men-16.8/17.2

      Project Description: Argonaut Constructors is seeking certified DBE  subcontractors and suppliers for this place hot mix asphalt, class 2 base and roadway excavation Project.

Engineers Estimate: $2,070,000.00

DBE Goal: 18 %

Time for Completion 35-45 Working Days and Liquidated Damages $4,800.00 per Calendar day

This request includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Construction area signs, lead compliance plan, trucking, water trucks, HMA material supplier, tack oil supplier, traffic control, jobsite management, temporary items (concrete washout, cover, check dam, drainage inlet protection, fiber roll, gravel bag berm, silt fence, reinforced silt fence, hydraulic mulch,) aggregate material supplier (Class II aggregate base, shoulder backing, flashing beacon, move-in move-out erosion control, high visibility fence,) 6” thermoplastic striping, street sweeping, cold plane asphalt, portable changeable message signs, rain event action plan, storm water sampling and analysis, storm water annual report, portable vehicle speed feedback sign, biologist, natural resources protection plan, plant group M, wood mulch, move-in-move out erosion control, imported biofiltration soil, rolled erosion control netting, fiber reinforced matrix, fiber rolls, mulch berm,  compost, rail element wall, structural concrete (drainage inlet), 24” and 30” alternative pipe suppliers, concrete (concrete apron), rock slope protection ¼ ton and 20 lb, minor concrete(curb), misc. iron & steel, delineator class 1, pavement markers, milepost marker, culvert markers, roadside signs, single sheet aluminum signage, midwest guardrail system, vegetation control (minor concrete), 12” rumble strip.

Argonaut Constructors encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.

Argonaut Constructors is a UNION CONTRACTOR.  Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.

Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. Argonaut is willing to break down items into economically feasible packages and we are willing to break out any portion of work to encourage participitation. Argonaut’s listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor’s conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor’s bid proposal. Argonaut is relying on the price submitted in the subcontractor’s proposal as all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifying language in the proposal. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.  Argonaut written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection at our office in Santa Rosa and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission.

Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming Argonaut Constructors as additional insured; including completed operations coverage, include primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
