Street improvements on Shaw Avenue from DeWolf Avenue to Leonard Avenue include roadway widening and utility infrastructure improvements. Roadway widening improvements include, but are not limited to, demolition and removal of existing improvements; installation of asphalt pavement; concrete improvements including curb and gutter, medians, and related concrete features; street lighting; installation of an underpass structure and associated foundations; traffic striping, pavement markings, and signage; traffic signal installation and modifications; installation of traffic detection loops; and other miscellaneous improvements.

Granite is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers, including certified SBE firms, for all bid items, including but not limited to the following trades and work classifications:

Granite will break work into economically feasible packages where practical and will assist qualified firms with bonding, insurance, equipment, materials, supplies, and technical information as needed.

Requirements: Granite is signatory to the Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. Subcontractors must possess a valid contractor's license, insurance, workers' compensation coverage, and a current DIR registration. Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the subcontract amount may be required. Granite may assist with bond premiums up to 1%.
