General Work Description: The project consists of rehabilitating the NCMT Berth 24-11 wharf, including deck replacement, pile repairs and jacketing, waterfront hardware replacement, and the complete removal and reinstallation of the shore power system. Work also includes utility improvements, paving, and associated civil construction while maintaining terminal operations throughout the project.
Granite is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers, including certified SBE firms, for all bid items, including but not limited to the following trades and work classifications:
Trucking, Rebar, Grinding, Sweeping, Water Trucks, Quality Control, Marine Divers, Survey, Crane Operations

Granite will break work into economically feasible packages where practical and will assist qualified firms with bonding, insurance, equipment, materials, supplies, and technical information as needed.

Requirements: Granite is signatory to the Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. Subcontractors must possess a valid contractor's license, insurance, workers' compensation coverage, and a current DIR registration. Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the subcontract amount may be required. Granite may assist with bond premiums up to 1%.
