General work description: The work to be done consists in general of but is not limited to cold-plane 2.5 inches of existing roadway surface, installation of hot mix asphalt; installing traffic stripes, pavement markings, and roadside signs.  Other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the typical sections, Standard Specifications or these special provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed.

Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to:  Site Demolition, Cut & Haul Excess Material, Cold Plane 2.5-Inch Existing Ac Surface, Haul-Off To Moose Lodge, Type "A" Hot Mix Asphalt, Apply Fog Seal On New Pavement, Install 12" Solid Limit/Crosswalk Line, - Thermoplastic, Install 24" Solid Crosswalk Line - Thermoplastic, Install 6" Yellow Centerline - Thermoplastic - Detail 22, Install 6" White Laneline - Thermoplastic - Detail 9, Install 8" White Channelizing Stripe - Thermoplastic - Detail 38, Install White Thermoplastic Pavement Markings, Furnish And Install Solar-Powered Flashing Led Stop Sign - R1-1 (36"X36"), Furnish And Install W74 (Ca) Sign. (48"X48"), Furnish and Install Blue Retro- Reflective Fire Hydrant Marker, Adjust Survey Monument Cover To Grade, Adjust Sewer Manhole Cover To Grade, Quality Control Program, Temporary Traffic Control, SWPPP.

Griffith Company will work with interested subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages. 

Requirements: Griffith Company is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. 100% performance and payment bonds required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation insurance coverage meeting Griffith’s requirements. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the Estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials, and/or supplies.
