Project: CMAR for the Vic Trace Reservoir Replacement Project

Scope: Granite is currenlty soliciting proposals from qualified DBE firms to provide PRE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES for the Vic Trace Reservoir Replacement Project. This project will replace a 10-million-gallon drinking water storage tank to improve operational flexibility and maintain critical drinking water storage for the community, as well as replace various nearby critical pieces of aging infrastructure that support the Project (e.g., pipelines, valves, pressure reducing stations, pump stations, etc.).

Interested DBE firms are invited to submit their Statements of Qualifications and proposals by Wednesday, August 6, 2025, to allow sufficient time for the project team’s evaluation. Proposals should include:

• Company profile and certifications
• Relevant experience with preconstruction services
• References from previous projects
• Resumes of key personnel
• Pricing or fee structure

Plans: The project is currently at the 15% design phase. The design phase is expected to take approximately another two years (2025-2027). For any bid proposal submitted on or after March 1, 2015 and any contract for public work entered into on or after April 1, 2015, the following registration requirements apply: Every Subcontractor is required to be registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 of the Public Contract Code (Section 1725.5). No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal pursuant to Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. No bid shall be accepted nor any subcontract entered into without proof of the Subcontractor’s current registration to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5.
