The description of the work is as follows:
1. Furnish and install approximately 1,570 LF of 15” PIP PVC pipe from Well SN-1 to
the existing Rosedale 1 Channel including all fittings, appurtenances, connections,
and canal discharge piping.
2. Furnish and install approximately 2,355 LF of 15” PIP PVC pipe from Well SN-2 to
the existing Rosedale 1 Channel including all fittings, appurtenances, connections,
and canal discharge piping.
3. Install the District furnished precast concrete turnout structure and wing walls.
4. Furnish and install approximately 40 LF of 48” Triple Wall HDPE, concrete cutoff
wall, slurry backfill, geotextile fabric, rock riprap, and weir boards.
5. Furnish and install reinforced concrete spillway to Rosedale 1 Channel in the
northwest corner of the Stockdale North Recharge Facility.
Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to:
Furnish & Install 15" Pip Pvc Recovery Line (Sn-1), Furnish & Install 15" Pip PVC Recovery Line (Sn-2), Furnish & Install 16" Steel Discharge Assembly, Excavation & Subgrade Preparation, Install District-Furnished Precast Turnout Structure, Install Wingwalls, Furnish & Install 48" Sanitite Hp Triple Wall Pipe, Concrete Cutoff Wall, Inlet Channel & Slope Protection, Outlet Channel & Slope Protection, Over-Excavate & Re-Compact Subgrade, Reinforced Concrete Spill Structure (Footings & Curbing), Connection To Existing HDPE Lining
Specialty Construction is willing to break down quotes into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. SCI will work with interested MBE/WBE/SBE business enterprises firms to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages. Subcontractor/Supplier Requirements: In most cases subcontracts in excess of $50,000 may require 100% performance and payment bonds for the full amount of subcontract price. SCI will pay for bond premiums up to 2%. Subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Regulations (DIR), possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting SCI and Owner’s requirements. Subcontractors will also be required to sign the standard SCI Subcontract Agreement or Purchase Order as appropriate. For copies of the insurance requirements, Subcontract Agreement or Purchase Order, please contact Sheri Shamblin. Include with your bid the Time required for Performance of your work and any Delivery Schedules so that we can establish a Flexible Timeframe for your work, however, contract time availability is dictated by the Contract Documents.
