General work description: Installing concrete curb ramps, replacing concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, driveway, and storm drain piping, demolishing and rebuilding storm drain catch basins, milling asphalt, and reconstructing asphalt concrete and aggregate base street section on San Antonio Avenue. All work items shall be constructed in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. Bidding Documents contain the full description of the Work.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Asphalt Supplier, Concrete & Cement Supplier, Pipe Supplier, Storm Water Systems Supplier, Construction Staking, Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control System, Traffic Flaggers, Reset, Adjust Roadway Items, Plane Asphalt Concrete, Remove Concrete, Roadway Excavation, Aggregate Base, Concrete Pumping, Groove & Grind Pavement, Plastic Pipe, Concrete Curb & Sidewalk-Misc, Saw Cutting, Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking, Painted Traffic Stripe & Marking, Remove Striping & Marking, Pavement Marking, Swppp Planning, Super 10 Dump Truck, Street Sweeping Truck , Trucker , Constr Staking (Survey)

The DBE Contract goal is 28 percent

The estimated cost of the project is $1,500,000.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement.
