General work description: General work description: Provide asphalt concrete milling; placing asphalt concrete and rubberized asphalt concrete overlay; mandatory use of recycled water, traffic control; crack sealing; striping; placing legends and pavement markers; site preparation; guardrail installation and improvements; lowering manholes, utility boxes, vaults and then raising back to grade following paving., including all incidental and related work as required by Construction Documents herein (Project).
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Asphalt Supplier, Guard Railing & Barriers Supplier, Construction Staking, Traffic Control Supplier, Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control System, Traffic Flaggers, Pilot Car, Reset, Adjust Roadway Items, Plane Asphalt Concrete, Asphalt Concrete (Place), Clean & Seal Pavement Joints - Rout & Seal Cracks, Roadside Sign, Object Marker, Metal Beam Guard Railing, Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking, Painted Traffic Stripe & Marking, Pavement Marking, Super 10 Dump Truck, Street Sweeping Truck, Trucker, Constr Staking (Survey), Laboratory Testing And Analysis
The DBE Contract goal is 9 percent The estimated cost of the project is $2,300,000

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
