* DVBE participation incentive up to $250,000 *

General work description: Construct structural concrete bridge and electrified barrier systems.

Granite Construction Company is seeking Subs/Suppliers for participation on this project, including all DVBE and SBE firms. All items of work are available, including (but not limited to) the following suggested items: Lead Compliance Plan; Prepare WPCP; Drain Inlet Protection; Fiber Rolls; Construction Area Signs; Roadside Signs; Traffic Control; Rental of Traffic items (Barricades, Portable Speed Feedback Signs, PCMS boards, End of Queue Changeable Signs etc); Temporary K Railing; Crash Cushions; Tree Removal; All Planting, Irrigation and Erosion Control items; High Friction Surface Treatment; Pavement Grinding; Asphalt Oil; Tack Coat; CIDH Concrete Piling; Drill & Bond; Structural Concrete items; Joint Seal; Reinforcing Steel (Bridge); Bridge Deck Surface Treatment; Polyester Concrete Overlay; Pipe & Drainage materials; Rock Slope Protection; RSP Fabric material; Fencing; Wildlife Fence; Concrete Barriers; Striping & Marking; All Electrical items; Trucking.

Granite Construction will break down items of work to facilitate DVBE and SBE participation on this project. All non-DVBE subcontractors should include any potential DVBE participation information with your quote. Requirements: Firms must possess & provide current contractor’s license number & DIR Registration number on the quote.  No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
