Ames Construction, Inc. is seeking certified and qualified DBE subcontractors and suppliers to meet the 23% goal for the following:

PROJECT: 08-1C7204 - Construction on State Highway in San Bernardino about 22 miles Northeast of Barstow at various locations from 0.3 mile South of Harvard Road overcrossing to 0.1 mile North of Rasor Road overcrossing.

DBE Subs/Suppliers required include but are not limited to: Lead compliance plan, CPM scheduling, asbestos compliance plan, develop water supply, construction area signs, portable radar signs, PCMS, traffic control system, attenuator truck, temporary barrier system, temporary crash cushions, SWPPP, erosion control, street sweeping, natural resource protection plan, clear and grub, roadway excavation, dust palliative, shoulder backing, aggregate base, hydroseed, duff, demolition, structural concrete, minor concrete, rebar, reinforced concrete pipe, corrugated steel pipe, delineators, markers, cable railing, temporary fencing, pavement marking, electrical, soil binder, treated wood waste, biologist, imported borrow, concrete supply, steel flared end section, rock slope protection, miscellaneous iron and steel, mid-west guardrail, transition railing, end anchor assembly, alt in-line terminal system, max-tension median terminal system, construction materials, equipment rentals and trucking. Ames Construction, Inc. will work with subcontractors and suppliers to breakdown items into economical feasible packages and to establish delivery/construction schedules to allow for maximum DBE participation.

Ames will require bidder to provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the Subcontract values.  Costs of the bonds are to be provided as a separate line item. Please call to discuss how Ames Construction can assist you in your bonding, credit and/or insurance needs. Also, let us know if you need assistance in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related assistance or services for this project. Please contact us for more information. Ames’ Subcontract terms and conditions will apply to any contracts resulting from this request. The Subcontractor, by submission of its bid, agrees to the “Terms and Conditions” including all Exhibits and Attachments of Ames Subcontract Agreement.
