Nexgen Building Group, Inc. is seeking quotes from qualified subcontractors and service providers, particularly those who are Certified DVBE's for work on the following project:

Project Name: Modular Classroom Building Installation, Naranca Elementary School

Agency: Cajon Valley Union School District

DVBE Goal: 3%

Project Description: Project will include the construction of a new modular classroom building in the northeast portion of the campus. The location of the proposed new building is currently an asphalt concrete (AC) paved hardcourt play area. The new modular building will have a structural footprint of approximately 4,800 square feet. Further improvements are anticipated to include a new fire lane to provide access to the new modular classroom and underground utilities. The new fire lane will extend from Finch Street through the southern parking lot and along the western side of the lower play field.

The cost estimate for this project is $2.6 million.

Work includes, but is not limited to the following bid items: Demolition, Concrete, Pipe and Tube Railings, Weather Resistive Barriers, Exterior Painting, Signage, Low-Voltage Electrical, Grading, Curbs, Gutters, Sidewalks, Asphalt Paving, Fencing, Planting Irrigation

Nexgen also requests quotes from vendors, particularly vendors who are Certified DVBEs and are either manufacturers or regular dealers as defined by 49 CFR 26.55, for all materials and supplies for this project. Nexgen will consider quotes for any work on this project including work we traditionally perform with our own forces to insure DVBE participation. Minority, women, and disabled veteran (DVBE) contractors are encouraged to submit bids

Plans and Specs: Contract documents are now on file and copies may be obtained online at www.cajonvalley.net/bids. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to ensure they have received all addendums. Addendums are posted on the same District website.

Nexgen will work cooperatively with all qualified firms interested in bidding this project. We are willing to break bid items down into economically feasible units where feasible.
