General work description: All labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and to equip Well No. 34, a municipal water well, with a deep well vertical turbine pump, motor, discharge piping, electrical and controls, SCADA system, diesel generator, shade structure, building, site grading and drainage, conveyance piping, hydropneumatic tank, appurtenances, site development, and all other items or details not mentioned above that are required by typical construction or Standard Specifications.
Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to: Site Earthwork, Concrete Pump Foundation For Deep Well, Vertical Hollow Shaft Electric Motor, Deep Well Vertical Turbine Pump Assembly, Discharge Column, And Pump Head, Well Discharge Piping And Appurtenances, Hydropneumatics Tank And Appurtenances Including Concrete Foundations, Well Conveyance Piping And Appurtenances, Porter Slough Overcrossing Piping And Appurtenances, Site Drain Piping And Appurtenances, Concrete Foundations For Electrical Equipment, Generator And VFD Building, VFD Building, Electrical Equipment Shade Structure, 3/4" Gravel Rock Site Ground Cover, Chain Link Fencing And Gates, Painting System, On Site Sodium Hypochlorite Generation System, Chlorine Building With Concrete Foundation, Standby Diesel Generator Set And Appurtenances, Electrical And Controls, Install SCE Primary Conduit And Appurtenances, Communications Tower And Concrete Foundation
Specialty Construction is willing to break down quotes into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. SCI will work with interested DBE/MBE/WBE/SBE/SBRA/LSAF/HUB firms to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages. Subcontractor/Supplier Requirements: In most cases subcontracts in excess of $50,000 may require 100% performance and payment bonds for the full amount of subcontract price. SCI will pay for bond premiums up to 2%. Subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Regulations (DIR), possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting SCI and Owner’s requirements. Subcontractors will also be required to sign the standard SCI Subcontract Agreement or Purchase Order as appropriate. For copies of the insurance requirements, Subcontract Agreement or Purchase Order, please contact Sheri Shamblin. Include with your bid the Time required for Performance of your work and any Delivery Schedules so that we can establish a Flexible Timeframe for your work, however, contract time availability is dictated by the Contract Documents
