      Project Description: Argonaut Constructors is seeking certified DBE/WBE/MBE subcontractors and suppliers for this Place HMA, remove & install guardrail.

Engineers Estimate: $16,300,000.00

DBE Goal: 21%

Time for Completion 130-180 Working Days and Liquidated Damages $9,500.00 per Calendar Day

Traffic control, construction area signs, trucking, lead compliance plan, critical path method schedule, develop water supply, portable radar feedback sign system, temporary items (cover, check dam, fiber roll, concrete washout, hydraulic  mulch, drainage inlet protection, gravel berm bag, high visibility fence), portable changeable message signs,  jobsite management, prepare storm water pollution prevention plan,  remove thermo striping, treated wood waste, class II aggregate base, segment correction, HMA & RHMA supplier, paving fabric, ac dike type A C & D, tack coat, remove ac dike, cold plane asphalt concrete pavement, pavement marker, object markers, milepost marker,  R&R roadside signs, furnish & install aluminum signage, roadside signs one and two post, remove guardrail, thermo pavement markings, thermo striping, street sweeping, data core, CSP pipe suppliers, MBGE delineator,  midwest guardrail system-steel post, vegetation control, end anchor, alt in-line terminal system, asymmetrical replacement assembly, maintaining existing traffic management systems, modifying traffic monitoring stations.

Argonaut Constructors encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.

Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. Argonaut is willing to break down items into economically feasible packages and we are willing to break out any portion of work to encourage participitation. Argonaut’s listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor’s conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor’s bid proposal. Argonaut is relying on the price submitted in the subcontractor’s proposal as all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifying language in the proposal. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.  Argonaut written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection at our office in Santa Rosa and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission.
