P1916 Community Support Facilites at NAWS China Lake
This is a Design-Build project, access is granted after receipt of the NDA.
Bid proposals are due no later than June 15, 2020 01:30 PM .
General Work Description: Design-build project, which is to construct a Fitness Center and a Multipurpose Religious Facility NAWS China Lake, Ridgecrest, California. The proposed Fitness Center is 37,618 square feet (SF) and will provide fitness and recreational activities for the Base. The proposed Multipurpose Religious Facility is 14,163 SF and will provide worship and pastoral care activities for the Base.

The Successful Subcontractors will be required to provide a waiver of subrogation and sign a standard AGC-approved contract with SPC’s standard Attachment A thru N. At SPC’s discretion the Subcontractor must be prepared to provide a Payment and Performance Bond from a Treasury listed or similar Surety approved by SPC. SPC agrees to pay a maximum of 1% cost of the subcontractors Payment and Performance Bonds.
By submitting its bid, the Subcontractor represents that their bid is fully responsive to the Owner’s Instruction to Bidders, General and Special Conditions, and any other requirements of the Owner unless the requirement is specific to a portion of the work not being bid by the Subcontractor. The Subcontractor represents that its bid will remain open for acceptance by SPC for the same period specified in the project specification, the Owner’s payment terms to SPC are applicable to the payments to Subcontractor, and Subcontractor will provide SPC with the same indemnity and insurance requirements SPC is required to provide to the Owner. Execution of Soltek Pacific Construction’s standard subcontract is required of all successful subcontract bidders. Subcontractor bid conditions or terms that are inconsistent with the SPC standard subcontract shall be void. SPC’s standard subcontract is available for review on its website and at it Corporate Office during regular business hours. By submitting a bid, the Subcontractor represents that is has reviewed the standard subcontract and consents to its use without modification and agrees to execute SPC’s standard subcontract if awarded by SPC. Any listing of Subcontractor pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 4100 et seq. is expressly contingent upon Subcontractors’ acceptance to SPC’s standard subcontract terms & conditions.
