Ames Construction, Inc. is seeking certified and qualified DBE subcontractors and suppliers to meet the 22% goal for the following:
PROJECT: Bridge Replacements on NTH at 10 Bridges
(Project ID #H14910-18 & H14853)
OWNER: San Bernardino County Public Works

DBE Subs/Suppliers required include but are not limited to: The removal and replacement of 10 bridges along the National Trails Highway. The bridges are concrete slab bridges supported on diaphragm abutments on both spread footings and piles. Scope of the work includes Lead Compliance Plan, Construction Area Signs, Develop Water Supply, Traffic Control, PCMS, Temporary Railing, SWPPP, Remove existing Striping, Install new Pavement Striping and Markers, Excavation, Embankment, Structure Excavation, Structure Backfill, Subgrade Preparation, Class II Aggregate Base, Imported Borrow, Temporary Erosion Control, HMA Paving, Cold Plane Asphalt, 24” CIDH, Structural Concrete, Concrete Reinforcement, RCP, Rip Rap, Gravel Filter, Pulverizing Pavement, Tortoise Fence, Temporary Fence, Metal Beam Guardrail, Minor Concrete, Install Concrete Barrier, Roadside Signs, Bridge Demo, Guardrail Demo, and Geosynthetics.   Ames Construction, Inc. will work with subcontractors and suppliers to breakdown items into economical feasible packages and to establish delivery/construction schedules to allow for maximum DBE participation.

Ames will require bidder to provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the Subcontract values.  Costs of the bonds are to be provided as a separate line item. The Subcontractor, by submission of its bid, agrees to the “Terms and Conditions” including all Exhibits and Attachments of Ames Subcontract Agreement.
