General Work Description: Earthwork Levee Lowering/F&I Articulated Concrete Blocks/F&I 36” RCP/Conc MH/Duck Bill Check Valves and sluice gates/ Demo (E) Conc tide-gate structure/ De-water system system/temp. sheet pile cofferdams/F&I Steel Sheet pile/precast concrete piles/ reconstruct (N) tide-gate structure (foundation, apron, cutoff wall)/Construct Reinforces concrete bridge abutments including wind walls and staircase/F&I Bridge barriers, girders and deck/Temp relocation of irrigation lines & utilities and misc. other items.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified MBE/WBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Pilings Supplier; Concrete & Cement Supplier; Steel Supplier; Pipe Supplier; Remove Concrete; Hydroseeding; Erosion Control; Pipeline Inspection & Cleaning; Aggregate Base; Concrete Pumping; Asphalt Concrete (Place); Pavement Reinforcing Fabric; Furnish & Drive Piling; Concrete Structure; Minor Concrete Structure; Furnish Precast Concrete Deck Unit; Erect Precast Concrete; Reinforcing Steel; Steel Structures; Reinforced Concrete Pipe; Rock Slope Protection; Rsp Fabric; Fencing; Metal Railing; Concrete Barrier; Swppp Planning; Bottom Dump Trucking; Transfer Dump Truck; Super 10 Dump Truck; Street Sweeping Truck; Land Surveying; Crane Work; Landscaping Contractor; Constr Staking (Survey); De-Watering & Pump By-Pass; Articulated Concrete Block Mats; Demo Existing Structure; Temp. Utility Relocation.

The MBE / WBE Contract goal is 15/5 percent.

The estimated cost of the project is $4,860,000.00

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement.
