Engineers Estimate: $6,522,000.00

DBE/WBE/MBE Minority Goal: 14%

Time for Completion 230 Working Days and Liquidated Damages $6,800.00 per calendar day

Traffic control, storm water pollution prevention plan, storm water sampling & analysis day, temporary water pollution control measures, progress schedule, construction area signs, remove thermoplastic striping, AC grinding, concrete demolition,  fencing removal and reinstall, sign post removal, remove traffic stripe and markings, remove/Salvage light pole/foundations and pull boxes, remove traffic signal system, remove at-Grade railroad crossing, adjust roadway utilities, remove tree stump, planting and street tree installation, decomposed granite (tree well), structural soil, 30-Mil Impermeable liner, organic mulch, planting soil, plant establishment work, irrigation system, pedestrian pavers, railroad ballast, site furnishings ( bench/trash rack/bicycle rack), aggregate and asphalt suppliers, precast concrete, reinforced concrete pipe, minor concrete ( curb & gutter/bio retention curb & gutter/ bio retention vertical curb/ splitter island vertical curb/curb cut/roundabout truck apron/ median flatwork/bus pad/cross gutter/driveway/sidewalk, curb ramp/ detectable warning surface), pedestrian channelizing fence, roadside sign, object marker, pavement markings, paint and thermoplastic striping, pavement markers, stamped asphalt concrete, street lights, temporary traffic signal, crossing signal foundations, grade crossing signal system, chain link fencing, trucking.

Copies of the contract documents are available from www.townofwindsor.com or local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Global Network as well as in trade publications such as Daily Pacific Builder or Daily Construction Services. Argonaut Constructors encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.

Argonaut Constructors (Argonaut) may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: Argonaut may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108.  Argonaut may pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. Argonaut Constructors is a UNION CONTRACTOR.  Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.

Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. Argonaut is willing to break down items into economically feasible packages and we are willing to break out any portion of work to encourage participitation. Argonaut’s listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor’s conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor’s bid proposal. Argonaut is relying on the price submitted in the subcontractor’s proposal as all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifying language in the proposal. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.  Argonaut written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection at our office in Santa Rosa and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission.
