The work consists of replacement of the existing potable and non-potable water distribution piping systems; replacement of the existing wastewater system, manholes, excavation in cobbles, boulders, and granitic bedrock; surface restoration; replacement of the existing asphalt pavement including grading and drainage improvements; roadway striping; disinfection; hydrotesting; abatement of hazardous materials; and other appurtenant work as specified and shown on the drawings.

Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to: Demolition, Clearing, Grubbing and Stripping,  Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) Removal, Removal and Disposal of PCB-Containing Materials, Demolition and Removal of Items Containing Lead, Earthwork, Sitework Concrete, Asphalt Concrete Pavement, Surface Restoration, Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) Plastic Pipe and Fittings: Gravity Sewer Pipe, Prevention of the Spread of Invasive Mussels, Cleaning, Protection from Contamination, and Disinfection of Water Systems, Sewer Manholes, Chain Link Fence and Gates, Protective Posts, Concrete Formwork, Reinforcing Steel, Anchors in Cured Concrete, Expansion Joints, Control Joints, and Waterstops, Cast-in-Place Concrete, Structural and Architectural Precast Concrete, Grout and Dry-Pack, Joint Sealants, Painting, Traffic and Parking Signage, Underground Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Septic Tanks, Insulating Joints, General Mechanical Piping, Copper Tubing for Plumbing Service, HDPE Plastic Pipe for Water Service, Stainless Steel Pipe for Water Service (150 psi), Stainless Steel Pipe and Fittings [E-Pipe], Copper Tubing and Fittings [C-Pipe], High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Plastic Pipe and Fittings [PE2-Pipe], Valves for Piping Systems, Vacuum and Air Relief Valves, Backflow Prevention Assemblies, Pipe and Equipment Insulation, General Plumbing, Safety Shower and Eyewash Units,  Flow Measuring System, Trucking, Equipment Rental, Swpping, Survey, Geotesting, Rock Breaking & Concrete Testing.

Requirements: Griffith Company is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. 100% performance and payment bonds required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation insurance coverage meeting Griffith’s requirements. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the Estimator.
