General work description: The work to be performed consists, in general, of roadway rehabilitation by hot mix asphalt overlay and digouts, placing HMA dikes, removing existing traffic stripe, applying thermoplastic traffic stripes and pavement markings, replacing existing culverts, replacing existing flume downdrain, installing new signs, and replacing object markers.

Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to: Lead Compliance Plan, Develop Water Supply, Temporary Traffic Control, Prepare Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, Clearing and Grubbing, Roadway Excavation, Structure Backfill (Culvert), Shoulder Backing, Finishing Roadway, Class 2 Aggregate Base, Hot Mix Asphalt (Type A), Place Hot Mix Asphalt Dike (Type A), Cold Plane Asphalt Concrete Pavement, 18” Corrugated Steel Pipe (.079” Thick), Flume Downdrain, Remove Culvert, Remove Downdrain, Remove Headwall, Delineator (Class 1 - Type E), Marker (Culvert), Remove Marker, Roadside Sign-One Post, Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe, Thermoplastic Pavement Marking, Remove Painted Traffic Stripe, Mobilization

Requirements: Griffith Company will work with interested subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages. Griffith Company is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. 100% performance and payment bonds required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) registration number, insurance and worker’s compensation insurance coverage meeting Griffith’s requirements. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the Estimator.
