General Work Description: The work consists, in general, of installing reinforced concrete box concrete over existing open channel sections of Sulphur Creek at certain locations, drainage and grading of infield areas and related improvements and performing other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, and as specified in the Standard Specifications or these Special Provisions.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Concrete & Cement Supplier, Reinforcing Bar Section, Hydroseeding, Temp Erosion Control, Reinforcing Steel, Reinforced Concrete Pipe, Super 10 Dump Truck.

The DBE Contract goal is 7.3 percent.

The estimated cost of the project is $2,600,000.00

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement.
