Project Description: Otay 2nd Pipeline Project provides for the construction of 4,600 ft. (0.9 mile)of new 48-inch pipeline on Woodman Street between Imperial Avenue and Skyline Drive and abandoning of the existing 36-inch Otay 2nd Pipeline. The new 48-inch pipeline alignment will start at the 65th Street and Imperial Avenue and will run south crossing the trolley tracks. Then it will run east on Imperial Avenue turning south at Woodman Street and will end at Skyline Drive connecting to the existing Otay 2nd Pipeline. This new pipeline is proposed to feed the new Cielo and Woodman Pump Station. This project will relocate the existing Pressure Regulating Valve from the Imperial Avenue median, that presently posed safety hazard to maintenance personnel, to the easement South of Imperial Avenue and 65th Street.

Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to: 237110: Abandonment, Welding, 237310: Asphalt Pavement, Pressure Reducing Station, Concrete Related Work, Striping 238210: Electrical, Instrumentation 541330: Traffic Control 541820: Community Liaison

Ortiz Corporation is actively seeking and will seriously consider all Quotes from interested and Qualified Consultant, Subcontractor, Supplier and Vendor Certified SLBE-ELBE's submitted by date stated above to be responsive. Ortiz will negotiate & is very willing to breakdown any portion of contract bid item to encourage & facilitate participation as well as assist in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related assistance or services. Material suppliers submitting bids in excess of 50-miles of City limits shall be responsible for cost associated with travel, meals, lodging & car rental for two inspectors. Plans/Specs available at no cost for those interested by calling our office or go to City San Diego and/or Planetbids website. Bonds/Insurance are required, Ortiz will only reimburse cost of actual bond (NO EXEPTIONS). ASSISTANCE is available for lines of Bonding/Credit Lines/Certifications including City of San Diego SLBE-ELBE Program registration process. Willing Subs will be signing an AGC Sub-Contract form & adhere to Ortiz terms & conditions with documentation delivery schedule available upon request.
