General Work Description: Contractor shall remove and replace approximately 66,500 SY of asphalt concrete pavement, lighting, striping, tie-downs, and perform associated work with these modifications in accordance with the Contract Documents. The associated work includes preparing a cement treated subgrade, removing and replacing elevated apron lights, and placing aggregate base course.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Landscape Services; Concrete & Cement Supplier; Reinforcing Bar Section; Timber Lagging/Lumber Supply; Pipe Supplier; Drainage Systems Supplier; Storm Water Systems Supplier; Construction Staking; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Reset, Adjust Roadway Items; Plane Asphalt Concrete; Clearing & Grubbing; Roadway Excavation; Hydroseeding; Aggregate Base; Reinforcing Steel; Sign Structures; Storm Drain/Manhole; Sewer Manhole; Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking; Painted Traffic Stripe & Marking; Remove Striping & Marking; Pavement Marking; Maintain Tms Elements; Signal & Lighting; Signals (Installation Of Signals); Lighting (Installation Of Street Lights); Swppp Planning; Trucker Broker; Trucker; Landscaping Contractor; Sewer Connection; Constr Staking (Survey)

The DBE Contract goal is 11.2 percent.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement.
