Project:Castenada No. 1 and No. 2 Reservoirs Rehabilitation, Glen Reservoir Demolition, and Mulholland Reservoirs Roof Maintenance
Project consists of: Work includes the rehabilitation of Castenada No. 1 and No. 2 steel reservoirs, the demolition of the Glen redwood reservoir, and roof improvements for Mulholland No. 1 and No.2 steel reservoirs. The work includes demolition and removal of a redwood tank, steel reservoir roofs, and valve vaults; raising the height of steel tank walls; construction of aluminum dome roofs; repair of existing aluminum dome roofs; construction of valve vaults; abrasive blasting, priming, and coating of tank interiors and exteriors; and constructing civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and pipeline improvements at the facilities. The reservoirs are located in San Ramon, Lafayette, and Orinda, respectively, in Contra Costa County, California.
Estimated Cost: $15,000,000 to $18,000,000
