Community business enterprise (CBE) Subs/Suppliers required include but are not limited to: SWPPP, shoring,  lead compliance, hazardous waste removal/hauling, dust control plan, noise assessment/mitigation/monitoring & reporting, sediment transportation plan, quality control, tire washes, trucking, water truck, street sweeping, portable scales, temporary sound barrier, clear and grub, demo, pipeline removal plan, tree removal, excavation/transportation and disposal of excess basin material and delineated soil, structure excavation, rip rap, concreted rip rap, aggregates, cold mill, ac paving, saw cutting, down drain & inlet, gauge board, reinforced concrete, structural concrete, minor concrete, PCC walk, fencing, metal cage enclosure Pipe – RCP/steel structural support pipe/copper, jack RCP, mechanical work, underground utilities, pipe supply, concrete supply, rebar, valves & fittings, signs, electrical, traffic control, PCMS, object markers, tree protection, planting and plant establishment.  Ames Construction, Inc. will work with subcontractors and suppliers to breakdown items into economical feasible packages and to establish delivery/construction schedules to allow for maximum CBE participation.

Los Angeles Public works has set a 25% CBE goal for this project. A CBE is defined as Minority/Women/Disadvantaged/Disabled Veteran owned Business Enterprise (M/W/D/DVBE). If your company falls into any of these classifications and want to become a certified CBE your members would call 323-881-3964 or send an emailed request to OSB@dcva.lacounty.gov .

Ames will require bidder to provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the Subcontract values.  Costs of the bonds are to be provided as a separate line item. Also, let us know if you need assistance in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related assistance or services for this project. Please contact us for more information.
