      Project Description: Argonaut Constructors is seeking certified DBE subcontractors and suppliers for this Roadway excavation/CL II AB, & HMA.

Engineers Estimate: $2,110,000.00

DBE Goal: 19%

Time for Completion 35-50 Working Days and Liquidated Damages $4,000.00 per Calendar day

This request includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Construction area signs, lead compliance plan, trucking, water trucks, HMA material supplier, tack oil supplier, traffic control, jobsite management, temporary items (concrete washout, drainage inlet protection, fiber roll, hydraulic mulch, check dam, cover, silt fence, construction entrance), portable changeable message signs, storm water pollution prevention program, class II aggregate base, treated wood waste, cold plane ac, structural concrete (head wall & drainage inlet), misc. thermo striping and pavement markings,  street sweeping, pavement markers, rock slope protection 60# and fabric, 24” CSP suppliers, rain event action plan, storm water annual plan, storm water sampling and analysis, bonded fiber matrix, fiber rolls, rolled erosion netting, compost, imported borrow, place hot mix ac dike, place hot mix ac  misc. areas, bar reinforcing steel, guard rail delineators, remove roadside signs, furnish single sheet aluminum signage, roadside signs, midwest guardrail system , vegetation control, cable railing, alternative in-line terminal system.

Requirements:

By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. Argonaut is willing to break down items into economically feasible packages and we are willing to break out any portion of work to encourage participitation. Argonaut’s listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor’s conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor’s bid proposal. Argonaut is relying on the price submitted in the subcontractor’s proposal as all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifying language in the proposal. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.  Argonaut written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection at our office in Santa Rosa and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission.
