Comet Electric, Inc requests subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms performing commercially useful function for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Traffic Control, Remove and Construct ADA Concrete Curb Ramp, Truncated Dome Installation, Remove and Construct Concrete (PCC) Sidewalk, Remove and Construct Curb and Gutter (see Plan for installation or to match existing) Adjust to Grade Existing Utility Pull Box Lid, Frame, and Cover, Adjust to Grade Manhole Frame and Cover, Various Pavement Marking Refurbishments (see Plan for Type), Traffic Signal Modifications, Removal and Installation of BOSCH TV Camera, 3-inch HDPE (Schedule 80) Conduit Installation, Removal and Replacement of Pull Box, Removal and Replacement of Pull Box Lid, Type E Loop Detector, 6-foot Diameter, Installation & Install Battery.

Comet Electric, Inc is willing to break items of work into smaller increments to assist DBE Contractors and Suppliers in obtaining work on this project. 100% Performance and Payment bonds required. Subcontractor’s must possess a current contractor’s license.

Requirements: No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
