General work description: Provide asphalt concrete milling; placing asphalt concrete and rubberized asphalt concrete overlay; asphalt concrete pavement repair and replacement; mandatory use of recycled water; Portland cement concrete road base repair, removal and replacement of damaged sidewalk, curb, gutter and driveways; installing or replacing curb ramps; installing truncated domes; tree trimming; traffic control; crack sealing; potholing; surveying; striping; placing legends and pavement markers; site preparation; lowering manholes, catch basins, utility boxes, vaults and then raising back to grade following paving., including all incidental and related work as required by Construction Documents herein (Project).
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Asphalt Supplier ; Concrete & Cement Supplier ; Construction Area Signs ;Traffic Control System ; Concrete Pumping ; Groove & Grind Pavement ; Minor Concrete Structure ; Concrete Curb & Sidewalk - Misc ; Misc Iron & Steel Frame ; Object Marker ; Thermoplastic Traffic Striping & Marking ; Painted Traffic Striping & Marking ; Pavement Marker ; Pavement Marking
The DBE Contract goal is 9 percent
The estimated cost of the project is $2,600,000.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
