General work description:

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to lumber supply, pipe supplier, drainage systems supplier, traffic control supplier, construction area signs, traffic control system, temporary railing (type k), plane asphalt concrete, remove concrete, remove bridge item, clearing & grubbing, grading, structure excavation, structure backfill, erosion control, temporary erosion control, aggregate  base (ab), concrete pumping, asphalt concrete, paving asphalt (asphalt concrete), minor concrete structure, reinforcing steel, roadside sign, alternative pipe culvert, concrete curb & sidewalk- misc, saw cutting, object marker, metal beam guard railing, metal railing (include handrailing, cable railing, bicycle railing), concrete barrier (permanent)all concrete barrier types), crash cushion, thermoplastic traffic striping & marking, signal & lighting (furnishing, installing, modifying or removing), lead compliance, swppp planning, super 10 dump truck, flat bed trucking, end dump truck, street sweeping truck

The DBE Contract goal is 22 percent.

The estimated cost of the project is $6,700,000.00

Requirements: Firms must possess & provide current contractor’s license number & DIR Registration number on the quote.  No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price.
