Project Description: The work includes construction of 39,540 linear feet of recycled water pipeline and appurtenances within the City of Oceanside, originating at the San Luis Rey Water Reclamation Facility. Pipeline diameters range between 10 to 18-inches. The work includes multiple horizontal directional drill crossings of the San Luis Rey River adjacent to Douglas Drive.

Orion Construction Corp. is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers especially certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Jack and Bore, Fuse PVC C-900 Pipe, Directional Boring, Traffic Loops, Striping, Asphalt Paving, Concrete Flatwork (Curb, gutter and sidewalk), Dewatering, Trucking, Traffic Control, Asphalt Suppliers, Class II Base Suppliers, SE-50 Sand Suppliers & PVC Pipe, Valve and Fitting Suppliers.

ALL BID ITEMS ARE OPEN FOR BID, including items of work normally performed by Orion Construction.

Requirements: Orion Construction may assist with the bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation insurance A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the Estimator.  The US Small Business Administration may also assist you in obtaining bonding - please see the following site for more information:  http://www.sba.gov/content/contractors#
