General work description: Pavement rehabilitation along Edgewater Blvd from Beach E. Hillsdale Blvd through the Beach Park intersection including pavement grinding, base repair, asphalt overlay thermoplastic pavement striping and pavement markings, updating access ramps, curb and gutter repair, and adjusting utility covers to final grade
Davis Bacon wages and “Buy America Requirements” are applicable to this project
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Tree Services; Asphalt Supplier; Concrete & Cement Supplier; Traffic Control Supplier; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Reset, Adjust Roadway Items; Plane Asphalt Concrete; Remove Concrete; Irrigation System; Concrete Pumping; Roadside Sign; Concrete Curb & Sidewalk-Misc; Saw Cutting; Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking; Painted Traffic Stripe & Marking; Remove Striping & Marking; Pavement Marking; SWPPP Planning; Street Sweeping Truck; Trucker Broker
The DBE Contract goal is 8 percent. Federal-aid project no.: STPL-5409(017)
The estimated cost of the project is $1,600,000.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price.

Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement.
