Scope of Services: The scope of work consists the installing new and modification of existing traffic signals, fiber optic communication, ADA pedestrian ramp improvement, street improvement, and roadway restriping on Union Street, from Arroyo Avenue on the west to Holliston Avenue on the east, and Holliston Avenue from Union Street on the north to Green Street on the south. The work includes furnishing and installing new traffic signal standards, traffic signal equipment, conduit, conductors, pull boxes, traffic signal controller and cabinet, fiber optic communication, ethernet switch, splice enclosure, bulb outs, curb ramps, slurry seal, resurfacing, curb and gutter, striping and signage, removal of existing traffic signals, relocating catch basin, median island, and miscellaneous appurtenant work.

Comet Electric, Inc is willing to break items of work into smaller increments to assist DBE Contractors and Suppliers in obtaining work on this project. 100% Performance and Payment bonds required. Subcontractor’s must possess a current contractor’s license.

Requirements: No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
