Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Pipe Supplier; Drainage Systems Supplier; Construction Staking; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Plane Asphalt Concrete; Remove Bridge Item; Highway Planting; Soil Amendments; Hydroseeding; Erosion Control; Temporary Erosion Control; Place Asphalt Concrete Dike & Misc.; Groove & Grind Concrete Pavement; Cast-In-Drilled-Hole Concrete Piling; Prestressing Concrete Cast-In-Place; Minor Concrete Structure; Joint Seal – Water Stop; Reinforcing Steel; Roadside Sign; Welded Steel Pipe; Misc. Bridge Metal; Saw Cutting; Paint And Stain Concrete; Fencing; Temporary Fencing; Object Marker; Metal Beam Guard Railing; Metal Railing (Include Handrailing, Cable Railing, Bicycle Railing); "Concrete Barrier (Permanent); (All Concrete Barrier Types); Crash Cushion; Thermoplastic Traffic Striping & Marking; Painted Traffic Striping & Marking; Remove Pavement Marking & Traffic Stripes; Signal & Lighting (Furnishing, Installing, Modifying or Removing ); Signal (Installation Of Signals); Pavement Profiling; Environmental – Water Quality; Biological Resources Studies; End Dump Truck; Trucker Broker; Trucker; Construction Staking (Surveying).

The DBE Contract goal is 22% percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACST-P162(043)E. The estimated cost of the project is $14,700,000.00. Requirements:
No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
