Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Landscape, Tree Services, Landscaping Materials Supplier, Petroleum, Oil, Lubricants Supplier, Sand & Gravel Supplier (Bulk Item), Concrete & Cement Supplier(Bulk Item), Pipe Supplier, Construction Staking, Clearing & Grubbing, Grading, Ditches Excavation, Embankment Construction, Aggregate Base (Ab), Paving Asphalt (Asphalt Concrete), Pumping Plant Electrical Equipment, Biological Resources Studies, Trucker, Plumbing, Electrical, Demolition
General work description: The purpose of this project is to improve the resilience of critical WWTP infrastructure from catastrophic failure from flooding and associated erosion that threatens the City’s WWTP. Work includes replacing the existing Riverside Ponds with new ponds with berms elevated above the 100-year floodplain, stabilization of the banks of the Oat Hill Mine Ditch and Napa River, realignment and stabilization of Simmons Creek, and other incidental improvements as shown on the project plans.
The estimated cost of the project is $3,600,000.

No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
