General work description: Removal of existing asphalt concrete (AC) and loading pads, removal of existing concrete drainage basin, installation of a new drainage trench, installation of a new sand trap and storm drain, installation of new rigid pavement, and restriping of existing striping.
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DVBE and SBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Petroleum, Oil, Lubricants, Pilings Supplier, Concrete & Cement Supplier, Reinforcing Bar Section, Steel Supplier, Paint Supplier, Drainage Systems Supplier, Storm Water Systems Supplier, Pavement Markers Supplier, Construction Staking, Remove Concrete, Roadway Excavation, Structure Excavation, Aggregate Base, Concrete Pumping, Asphalt Concrete (Place), Portland Cement & Concrete Pavement, Clean & Seal Pavement Joints - Rout & Seal Cracks, Joint Seal - Water Stop, Reinforcing Steel, Plastic Pipe, Sewer Manhole, Saw Cutting, Surveyor, Bottom Dump Trucking, Super 10 Dump Truck, Cutting (Excavating or Lowering A Grade), Construction Staking (Survey), Laboratory Testing and Analysis.

No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
