General work description: Install soldier pile, HMA and drainage. Hwy 84 in San Mateo near La Honda at 1.2 miles North of Madera Lane
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Timber Lagging; Steel Supplier; Pipe Supplier; Drainage Systems Supplier; Traffic Control Supplier; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Temporary Railing (Type K); Plane Asphalt Concrete; Soil Amendments; Hydroseeding; Erosion Control; Asphalt Concrete; Paving Asphalt (Asphalt Concrete); Place Asphalt Concrete Dike & Misc; Ground Anchor; Drilled Hole; Concrete Structure ; Minor Concrete Structure; Reinforcing Steel; Clean & Paint Steel; Corrugated Metal Pipe (Cmp); Filter Fabric; "Misc Iron & Steel Frame, Cover & Grate; Saw Cutting; Paint And Stain Concrete; Metal Railing (Include Handrailing, Cable Railing, Bicycle Railing); "Concrete Barrier (Permanent)(All Concrete Barrier Types)"; Metal Beam Barrier; Thermoplastic Traffic Striping & Marking; Painted Traffic Striping & Marking
The DBE Contract goal is 21 percent.
The estimated cost of the project is $2,620,000.

Due to Covid-19 & Social Distancing requirements, we are not currently scheduling appointments to review project docs or meet with estimators in our office. Requirements: Firms must possess & provide current contractor’s license number & DIR Registration number on the quote. No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting.
