Engineers Estimate: $3,700,000.00

 There is not an established Fair Share Objective for this project.
Time for Completion 150 Calendar Days and Liquidated Damages $5,000.00 per calendar day

This request includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Construction area signs, trucking, water trucks,  hot mix asphalt and aggregate base, traffic control, potholing, sheeting shoring and bracing, erosion control BMP, construction staking and survey, temporary trench plating, sawcut remove and replace curb gutter and sidewalk, sawcut and remove existing paving and install 4” AC paving, PVC pipe suppliers, horizontal directional drilling,  gate valve, air release and blow-off suppliers, striping restoration, traffic loop restoration, pipe and fitting suppliers, landscape & irrigation, concrete subcontractors, fusible PVC pipe , testing pressure piping, pavement markings, pavement markers, temporary pavement delineation, removal of pavement striping markings and markers, dewatering, traffic control plan, changeable message signs, stormwater pollution prevention plan, pavement and concrete removal.

Copies of the contract documents are available from CIPList.com at no charge by logging on to www.CIPList.com and are available for viewing in local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Global Network. Argonaut Constructors encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.

Info: Mr. Steve Langhals (707-542-4862 or stevel@argonautconstructors.com is the Estimator for this project and is available to provide you with assistance to clarify any questions regarding the scope of work, including interpretation of plans, specifications and requirements, bid preparation and obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance and any technical assistance. Argonaut Constructors (Argonaut) may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or related services. Please note: Argonaut may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108.  Argonaut may pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. Argonaut Constructors is a UNION CONTRACTOR.  Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.

Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. Argonaut is willing to break down items into economically feasible packages and we are willing to break out any portion of work to encourage participitation. Argonaut’s listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of subcontractor’s conditions, qualifications, exclusions, or exceptions included in the subcontractor’s bid proposal. Argonaut is relying on the price submitted in the subcontractor’s proposal as all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifying language in the proposal. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.  Argonaut written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection at our office in Santa Rosa and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission.

Insurance: Your bid must include the cost of naming Argonaut Constructors as additional insured; including completed operations coverage; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
