Granite Construction Company is soliciting bids for the HWY 101: Padaro Project (Segment 4B). This project is the third of five Segments that will improve the Highway 101 corridor between Carpinteria and Santa Barbara, CA. Granite Construction has been awarded the Caltrans contract to serve as the General Contractor and is looking for qualified DBE Trucking to join them in constructing this historic project.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Construction on State Highway in Santa Barbara County on Route 101. The Project is intended to construct one new part-time continuous access High Occupancy Vehicle Lane on U.S. 101 in each direction between Carpinteria and Santa Barbara as well as remove and replace all existing lanes and shoulders.
PROJECT LOCATION: From 0.9-mile South of South Padaro Lane undercrossing to 0.6 mile North of Padaro Lane overcrossing.

DBE firms must be certified with appropriate Commodity Codes prior to bid opening to qualify as a responsible/responsive bid.
