General work description: Replacement of existing water lines and retardant lines with new plumbing, repair of existing electrical lines (where affected), replacement of existing flexible pavement turn areas with rigid pavement, replacement of existing striping, and replacement of the existing driveway with asphalt concrete pavement.
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DVBE/SBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Asphalt Supplier, Concrete & Cement Supplier, Reinforcing Bar Section, Steel Supplier, Construction Staking, Plane Asphalt Concrete, Remove Concrete, Clearing & Grubbing, Roadway Excavation, Grading, Hydroseeding, Erosion Control, Pipeline Inspection & Cleaning, Aggregate Base, Concrete Pumping, Asphalt Concrete (Place), Portland Cement & Concrete Pavement, Saw Cutting, Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking, Painted Traffic Stripe & Marking, Remove Striping & Marking, Pavement Marking, Surveyor, SWPPP Planning, Bottom Dump Trucking, Transfer Dump Truck, Super 10 Dump Truck, Trucker Broker, Trucker, Heavy Equipment Rental, and Construction Staking (Survey)

Requirements: No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
