Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Wood Revetments & Logs; Construction Staking; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Plane Asphalt Concrete; Remove Bridge Item; Clearing & Grubbing; Hydroseeding; Erosion Control; Temporary Erosion Control; Pavement Reinforcing Fabric; Furnish & Drive Piling; Cast-In-Drilled-Hole Concrete Piling; Furnish Precast Concrete Deck Unit; Erect Precast Concrete; Reinforcing Steel; Roadside Sign; Clean & Paint Steel; Saw Cutting; Paint & Stain Concrete; Metal Beam Guard Railing; Metal Railing; Concrete Barrier; Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking; Pavement Marking; Lighting (Installation Of Street Lights); Message Signs, Lighting & Sign Illumination; Pavement Profiling; Constultant, Environmental; Materials Testing Service; Enviro - Biological Studies; Lead Compliance; Biological Resources Study; Trucker Broker; Trucker; Construction Staking (Survey).
The DBE Contract goal is 22 percent.
Federal-aid project no.: ACST-P254(009)E. The estimated cost of the project is $4,150,000.00.

No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
