Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Petroleum, Oil, Lubricants Supplier, Asphalt Supplier(Bulk Item), Concrete & Cement Supplier(Bulk Item), Reinforcing Bar Section Supplier, Steel Supplier, Pipe Supplier, Fencing Supplier, Guard Railing & Barriers Supplier, Traffic Control Supplier, Construction Area Signs, Temporary Railing (Type K), Plane Asphalt Concrete, Clearing & Grubbing, Roadway Excavation, Structure Excavation, Hydroseeding, Erosion Control, Temporary Erosion Control, Aggregate Base, Asphalt Concrete, Cast-In-Drilled-Hole Concrete Piling, Minor Concrete Structure, Reinforcing Steel, Roadside Sign, Saw Cutting, Metal Railing (Include Handrailing, Cable Railing, Bicycle Railing), Crash Cushion, Thermoplastic Traffic Striping & Marking, Lead Compliance, SWPPP Planning, Biological Resources Studies, Trucker
The DBE Contract goal is 20% percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACST-S001(664 E). Please let us know which bid items will be covered in your proposal and if you can get 3rd DBE participation to help us meet the DBE Goal 20%.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. If assistance is needed in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, materials, supplies or with the bid submittal process in general, we encourage you to contact the Project Estimator, the Northern California Procurement Technical Assistance Center (www.norcalptac.org), and/or the Minority Business Development Center (www.mbda.gov).
