Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) Subs/Suppliers required include but are not limited to: SWPPP, Lead Compliance Plan, safety plans, develop water supply, Traffic Control, signal & lighting, temporary erosion control, surface water diversion, scheduling, shoring, treated wood waste removal/hauling, quality control, trucking, water truck, street sweeping, dust palliatives, clear & grub, sawcut, roadside sign, roadway excavation, imported borrow, demolition, bridge removal, structure excavation and backfill, unclassified excavation and fill, metal hand railings, cable railing, Class 2 aggregates, rock slope protection, masonry block, structural concrete, structure concrete bridge, drill and bond dowels, retaining walls, joint seal (bridge), storm drain, water and sewer utilities, architectural treatment, anti-graffiti coating, furnish and drive piling, concrete barriers, shotcrete, asphalt paving, jointed plain concrete paving, joint seals, soil nail walls, temporary MSE walls, slope paving, gabions, concrete ditch lining, minor concrete, prestressing CIP concrete, fencing, gate, guardrail systems, miscellaneous iron and steel, underground utilities, VCP sewer, micro tunneling, pipe supply, concrete supply, rebar, pavement markings, electrical, rental equipment, decomposed granite, landscape & irrigation. Ames Construction, Inc. will work with subcontractors and suppliers to breakdown items into economical feasible packages and to establish delivery/construction schedules to allow for maximum DBE participation.
Ames will require bidder to provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the Subcontract values. Costs of the bonds are to be provided as a separate line item. Ames’ Subcontract terms and conditions will apply to any contracts resulting from this request. The Subcontractor, by submission of its bid, agrees to the “Terms and Conditions” including all Exhibits and Attachments of Ames Subcontract Agreement.
